Wooden Patio Umbrellas
While most patio umbrellas these days have metal poles, for those who prefer wood you can still find wooden patio umbrellas. They do bring with them a certain warmth and appeal, and if of good quality and well cared for, can be long lasting as well as attractive.

Styles and sizes come much the same for wooden patio umbrellas as for their metal cousins. Those shown here are some of the more basic and simple examples, the first picture being of a round canopy umbrella. This does have a super tilt facility, though, which helps it stand out from the crowd. It is made from Indonesian hardwood, with a brass trim to add a touch of distinction.
The square shaped "Bistro" umbrella will also make a for a distinctive piece of patio furniture. The light wood is Kampus Asian hardwood, and this provides the pole and rib supports. Bistro is an apt name for a stylishly designed umbrella which would good on the pavement outside a bistro, or on your patio.

The final picture features a more expensive but great value teak wood patio umbrella. Teak is the favoured wood for many who seek the best quality, and they will be pleased with this umbrella. Spacious shade is provided, and you have a choice of many colours for the canopy to set off the rich deep teak wood.
